Review: MUA Brow Define

Hiya :)

So as i was perusing in super drug about a week ago I came across this on the MUA stand, it's nice to see the more affordable brands branching out into the eyebrow department. I am not one to spend much on my every brows as they are think and don't need much filling in. However I am always willing to try drugstore products.

The MUA Brow define is a tinted gel, so the same sort of product as the Benefit Gimme Brow (which I have no tried so am unable to compare). However there is a massive difference in price the MUA one retails for just £2 making that a £15 price gap. I got mine in the colour Dark Brown the darkest shade, however this is nearly Black, but having dark brown and purple hair i can get away with out it. I don't know if al the colour come out darker than described.

The wand appears to be larger than the benefit one (again i have not tried this is merely and observation). The wand is just smaller than that of a travel mascara meaning that it can be a bit messy and hard to get a precise application.

The product leave your eyebrows soft and not solid like a brow mascara might so this is not a setting product the colour can also move when dry however this is when they are pressure is applied, a slight knock would't move the product.

Overall I enjoy using this product and will continue to use it on days where I wish to have a slightly darker brow. I would purchase again however next time i might try the lighter shade.

OOTD: Basic Everyday Outfit for University.

Hi Everyone, Long time no speak I know.

So today i really liked my outfit for university so i decided i was going to share it with you. It's really comfortable and perfect for sitting round in a class room. You will have to excuse the images, i left my camera and tripod at home so they are taken on my phone and some of them are at awkward angles.

So outfit was all based on this purple shirt by Levi, which was a bargain price of £3 from the vintage shop Harley and Lewis, which is always having sales and sells authentic vintage clothing. I couldn't wait to wear it a soon as i got so today was the day. Underneath i am wearing a vest top which i found in the Fishermans's Wharf area of San Fransisco which has the bear of California on it in and Aztec print.

The main reason i love the shirt is the flower detailing on the collar and the top of the pockets which helps give it that feminine touch considering it is so over sized. This shirt is and extra large.

I parked the top half with black Topshop treggings perfect for sitting in a classroom for a few hours and paired it off with my favourite low top navy blue converse.

Excuse the awkward pose.

This is the finished look for my outfit, this has to be one of my favourite of basic everyday outfits to wear to university.

Mac Face and Body Review C1

Hello :)

So I wanted to share with you guys today something I wish i had tried long before. Being a pale person I have been going to Mac for my foundation as they have a great shade range. This first foundation i tried from them was the studio sculpt(NC15), which i have a love hate relationship with, sometimes i love it and sometimes it looks terrible on my skin. Then I tried then i tried the match master foundation (1.0) and i used and it was alright but i didn't notice amazing results.

I think for me was that i was matched with the wrong tone, although i have a lot of redness in my cheeks i am yellow undertoned, however i thought the make-up artist knew best. Now i am older i realise that i shouldn't just listen the their opinion.

Okay... so enough rambling.
Mac Face and Body is by far the best foundation i have personally tried for my skin, which is a combination of everything. For starters it is better colour match as it has a more yellow undertone meaning that it blends really well and looks a lot more natural. The foundation itself has quite a light texture and you can not feel it on your face one you have applied it, which it something i love. If left without power it has a slight sheen to it giving me a dewy look. The foundation is quite a light coverage, however it is easily build able, which i prefer for a night out.

So far i have not found anything that i really dislike about the foundation and will continue to keep using it as my everyday.

A Blush Revolution?

Hi guys :)

So you may have heard of the brand Makeup Revolution. They are a brand stocked by Superdrug here in the UK, with a price point very similar to MUA. I know that you can buy their products online too.

I have heard a lot of rave about the eyeshadow palettes in the beauty blogger sphere, and how they are a dupe for Urban Decay. However, I do not see a lot of their blush palettes, which is what I was most interested about. I managed to get my hands on sugar and spice palette, and i have to say i am really impressed with it.

The sugar and spice palette

You don't find many blush pallets in the drug store so i loved that there was on the market for such a little price. They retail for £6. For your money you get 6 large blushes, as well as 2 highlights. All of which are highly pigmented.

The sugar and spice palette is full of pink toned blushes, with 2 more brown blushes with pink undertones.
There is also the Hot space palette are more and orange and coral toned blushes.
The have also recently released the Golden sugar palette which has 4 bronzers, 2 blushes and 2 highlighters.

The sugar and spice pallette

If you are looking for some new blushers in your life but don't want to break the bank then i would say this is the one for you.
